Velvet Vista Blackout Curtains is a made to measure velvet curtain for rooms that need to stay cool, calm and private. Every pair is cut to your window size, from AED 180 per square metre, with free measurement across Dubai.
Insulated Velvet Curtains Made for Dubai Homes
In Dubai, the sun does more than light a room. It heats it, bounces glare off screens and fades furniture. Velvet Vista is built for that. The dense polyester velvet sits between your window and the room, so less heat gets in during the day and your AC doesn’t have to work as hard. In the cooler months, the same layer helps keep warmth inside.
The fabric has a smooth, soft hand and falls in full, even folds. It looks rich without feeling heavy in the room, and it suits both modern apartments and classic villas.
Less Noise, Less Glare, More Privacy
Velvet is one of the better curtain fabrics for sound because its thick pile absorbs some of the noise coming through the glass. It won’t soundproof a room, but traffic, construction and neighbours become noticeably softer. That makes Velvet Vista a practical choice for bedrooms facing busy roads and for media rooms where you want a quiet, dark space.
With up to 90% of light blocked, screens stay readable in the afternoon and passers by can’t see in once the curtains are drawn.

Rooms Styling & Care
Where Velvet Vista Works Best
- Bedrooms: darker mornings, cooler nights and a quieter space for sleep
- Living rooms: cuts afternoon glare on the TV and keeps the room comfortable
- Lounges: adds a soft, finished look to formal seating areas
- Media rooms: dims the room and softens sound for a better viewing experience
Styling Tips
- Hang the rod 10 to 15 cm above the window frame and let the curtains reach the floor. The room will look taller.
- Ask for extra width so the velvet gathers in full folds when closed.
- Pair Velvet Vista with a sheer curtain on a double track. Use the sheer for soft daylight and close the velvet for full shade.
- Velvet catches light in its pile, so it suits plain walls, warm wood and brushed metal fittings.
Care
- Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment every few weeks to lift dust.
- Steam lightly from the back to remove creases. Don’t iron the velvet face.
- Spot clean spills with a damp cloth. Dry cleaning is the safest option for a full clean.
