At CurtainBlind.ae, we are committed to your satisfaction with our premium custom curtains, blackout curtains, sheer curtains, blinds, and installation services in Dubai. Because most of our products are custom-made to your exact measurements, fabric choices, colors, pleat styles, and specifications, they are uniquely produced for you and cannot be resold.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Custom-Made Products – General Policy

All curtains, blinds, motorized options, and made-to-measure items are considered custom / personalized products.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for custom-made items unless the product has a manufacturing defect or arrives materially different from what was ordered and approved.
  • This includes (but is not limited to):
    • Items made to your provided window measurements
    • Specific fabric, color, lining, heading style (pinch pleat, eyelet, ripple fold, etc.), or blackout level you selected
    • Any alteration or customization requested

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that custom products are non-returnable under standard consumer return rights due to their bespoke nature.

2. Eligibility for Return / Refund (Exceptions)

We will consider a return, exchange, or refund only in the following limited cases:

  • Manufacturing defect or damage upon delivery (e.g., stitching faults, fabric flaws, incorrect mechanism, visible damage caused before delivery)
  • Incorrect item shipped (wrong fabric, color, size, or style that differs from your confirmed order)
  • Non-custom / ready-made / stock items (if any such products are offered in the future – currently all items appear custom)

Non-eligible reasons include (but are not limited to):

  • Change of mind
  • Customer-provided incorrect measurements
  • Change in interior design / color preference after production
  • Not liking the final look / feel after professional installation

3. Timeframe to Report an Issue

  • You must notify us within 7 calendar days of receiving the delivery (or installation completion date, whichever is later).
  • Claims made after this period cannot be accepted.

4. How to Request a Return / Refund

  1. Contact us immediately via:
  2. Provide:
    • Order number
    • Photos of the issue / product (showing defect, packaging, labels if applicable)
    • Description of the problem
  3. Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days.
  4. If approved, we will provide instructions for return / collection (we usually arrange pickup in Dubai at no extra cost to you).
  5. Items must be returned in original condition, unused, with all packaging, tags, and accessories.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds (where approved) will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item(s).
  • Shipping / delivery fees and installation charges are non-refundable.
  • Partial refunds may apply if only part of an order is affected.

6. Faulty / Damaged Items During Installation

  • Our professional installation team inspects products on-site.
  • Any visible damage or mismatch will be noted and resolved immediately (replacement or adjustment at no cost).
  • For post-installation issues discovered later, follow the process in section 4.

7. Fabric Samples

  • Fabric swatches / samples are provided free or at a small charge for evaluation before ordering.
  • Samples are non-refundable as they are cut from stock.
